Here’s Why You Should Hold Your Meeting in South Florida

South Florida is made up of three counties, Miami-Dade, Broward County, and Palm Beach County.  These three counties are home to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach as well as various other cities such as Boca Raton, Hollywood, and more.  There are so many reasons why having your meeting or corporate event in South Florida is a great decision, and we couldn’t possibly list them all, so here are some of the best!

Wonderful Weather and Beautiful Beaches:

South Florida has some of the best weather in the world year round. While the rest of Florida experiences some kind of winter (even if it’s just a mildly chilly one) South Florida exists in a near constant summer. Add to that the beautiful sandy beaches, palm trees, tropical plants, and you have the perfect setting for a meeting or corporate event that nobody will want to miss!

Excellent Accessibility:

There are three major international airports, Palm Beach International, Miami International Airport, and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport so no matter which county you are staying in there is an airport to satisfy your transportation needs.  Navigating in South Florida is fairly simple and most destinations are fairly close to each other since the northern half of Palm Beach County is only an hour and half from Miami.

Awe-Inspiring Venues and Hotels:

There are tons of world-class venues and hotels to accommodate your meeting or corporate event but here are a few that are at the top of the list!

  • Palm Beach County Convention Center
  • The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center
  • Miami Beach Convention Center
  • The Breakers
  • The Westin Diplomat
  • The Addison
  • Ice Palace Studios
  • The Moore building

Engaging Entertainment:

If you tire of the beach, or are looking for something else to amuse your guests South Florida offers a variety of entertaining options!  Sports fans will want to head to Miami which is home to the Miami Marlins, the Miami Heat, and the Miami Dolphins.  For those looking for a hot spot of bars, restaurants, and other entertainments go to City Place in West Palm Beach, the Riverfront in Fort Lauderdale, or South Beach in Miami.  Anyone that likes to get outdoors and active will be pleased with all of the different parks and preserves, or they can head to the zoo (There’s one in each county)!
